Dominic Jones – Managing Director
Dominic has always been a computer enthusiast with a strong entrepreneurial flair building PCs to order as a teenager for friends. Following then a career in IT engineering, sales & consultancy, Dominic decided to branch out on his own and founded Barton Technology in 2000 to provide outsourced IT & Telecommunication services to local businesses.
Since then, Barton Technology has established a loyal client base and continues to see strong growth. This success is based on Dominic’s own ethos which has always been to understand the client’s business first before recommending the appropriate outsourced solutions. This business led approach, coupled with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service, has been the hallmark of Barton Technology’s success with many new clients joining through ‘word of mouth’ referral and recommendations. Dominic also owns Barton Growth & Equity Ltd, Barton Photography Ltd and Barton Group Enterprises Ltd which are all part of the diverse Barton group of businesses.
When he is not busy managing Barton Technology, Dominic takes to the skies flying helicopters or can be found mountain walking or rock climbing. Tennis, squash and travelling take up any other spare time.
Richard Ham – Engineering Manager
Richard is an experienced, qualified IT & Telecommunications engineer who manages the team of support engineers at Barton Technology. Since joining Barton Technology in 2004, Richard has become a trusted advisor to all of our clients. He is highly regarded for his technical knowledge and practical ‘hands on’ approach to providing appropriate outsourced IT & Telecommunication network solutions and on-going support.
Richard regularly meets with clients to review their technical IT & Telecommunication requirements, providing advice and making sure that the Barton Technology engineering team is resourced and ready to provide the necessary support.
When not busy working, Richard enjoys eating out and socialising, follows touring car racing and keeping up to date with technology.
Jordan Wade – Senior Consultant
Jordan has grown up with the world of IT and computers at his fingertips. Showing a keen interest in gadgets from a young age, his experience of IT has built over the years, forming a solid knowledge of computers and technology, further improved by joining Barton Technology in March 2009.
Jordan heads Barton Technology’s sales team and spends much of his time meeting with clients and prospect companies in order to understand their business and to advise on the suitability of outsourcing their IT & Telecommunication requirements to Barton Technology. This open and honest approach in the early stages lays the foundations for the long-term relationships that typify Barton Technology’s client base.
In his spare time, Jordan participates in a range of sports including football, golf and bowling. He often likes to exercise his mind by playing poker, whether it be online or with real people. Jordan also likes to spend far too much time (and sometimes money) on his car.
Raymond Jones – Director & Company Secretary
Being a part of Barton Technology Ltd since incorporation in 2000, Ray has managed the Finance Department for 10 years. His previous career spans from a semi – profession footballer to a lengthy employment as a Senior Manager for NatWest Bank before taking up being guardian of Barton Technology’s financial affairs. Ray manages the finance team and provides general office management.
He is an avid Fulham Football Club Supporter with a keen interest in Gardening and DIY, together with a passion to collect unusual and practical gadgets.
