IT support provider opens new branches in South East – 10 new jobs to be created
Sutton based IT network and communications solutions provider Barton Technology has opened three new branches in the South East following a wave of new business. As a result, ten new jobs will be created in the company’s London, Horsham and Maidstone offices.
Barton Technology is a provider of outsourced IT support and telephone systems to construction, not for profit, retail, finance, legal and insurance SME organisations based in London, Surrey and Kent. These organisations depend on their IT networks and communications to engage with their customers, suppliers and other partners.
Barton Technology believes that it’s the company’s understanding of the market and their customer’s businesses that has helped them grow so quickly. This led to the management team’s decision to take a big step forward and expand into new geographical areas, creating employment opportunities in the Pall Mall, Horsham and Maidstone regions.
Dominic Jones, managing director at Barton Technology explains what prompted the expansion: “We’ve had a very good year and this was evident from all of the enquiries we received. Most of these have turned into new customers and long term business. We owe our success to the team’s expertise and dedication,” said Jones.
“These three new branches in will allow us to maintain and even improve our response times to customers. Although the head office remains in Sutton, Pall Mall, Horsham and Maidstone will deal mostly with businesses located in the area,” he concluded. “People want to deal on a hyper-local level now. They no longer think that twenty miles away is close for an IT support company – now local means the end of your street or just the other side of town,” concluded Jones.
Established in April 2000, Barton Technology currently employs 18 staff. The company is recruiting for engineer and sales support roles and hopes to create even more job opportunities in the nearby future.
