Technology projects and installations
Technology projects and installations are inherently complex. Their smooth operation is reliant on many factors outside our direct control, including third-party hardware, software, infrastructure, and configurations. You should consider any technology project like a surgical procedure — complications are rare but do occasionally occur.
We perform hundreds of technology projects, installations and setups each year and the vast majority go exactly as expected, smoothly and without problems. However, in some cases additional downtime, time taken and expense may be incurred for which the customer may be liable.
We always do everything we possibly can to minimise problems, disruption and downtime. After all, problems inconvenience us as much as they inconvenience you.
Data and backups
Barton Technology Ltd takes no responsibility for any customer data in any form. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they maintain at least a full daily backup of all system files and data, including a “Bare Metal Restore” capability, and to monitor that such backups are working properly.
We strongly recommend that customers make a separate full backup before any work is carried out on their systems.
